Open Flight Deck’s Professor Neville Stanton, from the University of Southampton, attended the 10th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics in Washington, D.C at the end of July 2019.

During the Conference, Professor Stanton presented work from the Open Flight Deck project. This presentation looked in particular at how to predict error on the flight deck using a range of Human Factors technique and how early end user engagement can be used to generate novel remedial measures to mitigate the errors identified.
