Ensuring that engineers and designers are motivated to engage with Human Factors throughout the design lifecycle remains a significant challenge.
Dr Vicky Banks and Katie Parnell from The University of Southampton recently attended the 9th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics. They presented their work on best practise surrounding the selection of Human Factors methodologies within the design lifecycle, with the intention of making the process of method selection less daunting to non-expert users.
